Máté gives the closing lecture at the finals of the Swiss ChO 2024

Every year, talented pupils from all over Switzerland compete in the Swiss Chemistry Olympiad for a spot on the podium and the chance to go to the International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO).

This year's finals of the Swiss Chemistry Olympiad were held at ETH Zurich, where finally twelve pupils from Switzerland and Liechtenstein were able to prove their skills and will get the chance to compete at the International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO) 2024 in Riad, Saudi Arabia. The award ceremony was closed by an insightful talk by Máté on environmental pollutants and the need for their efficient detection and quantification.
